Appointment Scanner makes booking interviews super easy. It provided me the flexibility to cancel my appointment when I just wanted to sleep in and be assured that I would have another interview soon thereafter.
All payments are processed securely by our merchant of record, Paddle.
We do not handle or store any credit card information.
Appointment Scanner is an alerting service that monitors for open interview appointments that pop up due to last-minute cancellations.
Think of it like paying a personal assistant to refresh the interview calendar for you-24/7, 365.
You don't necessarily need Appointment Scanner to find an interview, but at busy enrollment centers, it significantly increases your chances of finding an appointment in a reasonable timeframe.
When we find an appointment that fits your requirements, you'll receive a text message or email (or both – your choice). This alert has a link to the Global Entry/SENTRI/NEXUS scheduler website, where you can login and claim the appointment.
Appointment Scanner does not book interview appointments for you. We do not sell appointments. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. We cannot access any of your Trusted Traveler Program account information.
Appointment Scanner is not a subscription.
It costs $29 for one month of alerts, with up to 25 alerts per day. Your account will automatically expire after 1 month.
There are no automatic recurring payments, so you will not be charged again unless you explicitly purchase another month. Most users only end up using it for a week or so and do not need a second month.
What if I need more time?
After your first month is up, you can choose to purchase a second month of alerts from your Appointment Scanner dashboard.
Appointment Scanner is built on top of public Global Entry/SENTRI/NEXUS websites and information–So while you don't necessarily need Appointment Scanner to find an interview, it makes the frustrating interview hunting process remarkably painless.
Prior to Appointment Scanner, some of the best strategies for getting a faster appointment included:
Manually refreshing the TTP schedule page every few minutes for a few days
Sounds like a sick joke, right? You pay $100 to apply for Global Entry and then can't find an interview near you without sitting on this page 24/7, hoping for someone to cancel their interview.
But this is the unfortunate reality at most busy enrollment centers in 2023. Most appointments only stay open for a few minutes so this can be tough to do manually, but it is possible to eventually find an appointment by being very persistent at refreshing the scheduler page every few minutes and waiting for new appointments to pop up.

Enrollment on Arrival
CBP runs a program that allows you to complete your Global Entry interview while going through U.S. customs. If you are traveling internationally at certain airports, this is a good option.
Try your luck at a walk-in appointment.
Some people have reported that at certain enrollment centers, they've been able to walk in and get a last minute appointment. But this can be hit or miss and may not be possible during the pandemic.
Travel to a less popular enrollment center in another state
This is by far the least convenient option, but if you really need to get an appointment and don't want to use Appointment Scanner, you can fly to another state that has more appointments available.
Or, just use Appointment Scanner.
Compared to any of these other options, customers are able to save several months of waiting and frustration by signing up for Appointment Scanner alerts.
You will receive up to 25 alerts per day for 1 month from the date you pay. Appointment Scanner is not a subscription–after one month, your account will auto expire and will never charge you again unless you choose to purchase another month of alerts.
Need more time? You can purchase an additional month of alerts right on your dashboard, or if you just need a few extra days, shoot us an email and we'll extend your account.
Appointment Scanner works with all of the permanent Global Entry, SENTRI and NEXUS enrollment centers and is updated frequently as new centers are added.

Sure! Many customers choose to use just one Appointment Scanner account for their family. When you receive an alert, just decide whether you want to book it for yourself or your family member.
Keep in mind that you can only register one phone number and one email address for each account. If you want to be able to notify family members separately and allow them to claim appointments for themselves, you'll need separate accounts.
Yes! Appointment Scanner supports scanning for "remote" (also called Zoom or "virtual") interview appointments, if you are eligible.
The CBP is only allowing offering remote interviews to certain Global Entry renewal applicants (not yet for SENTRI or NEXUS, or any first time applicants).
To be alerted about remote appointments: When choosing your enrollment centers at signup, search "remote," and select the "Remote / Zoom" option.
Here's some info from the CBP's press release on the remote interview pilot program:
To be eligible for the remote interview pilot, TTP members must:
- Be conditionally approved for a TTP renewal;
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Have a photo on file with CBP that was taken (1) within the past 10 years, and (2) after the applicant was 14 years of age; and
- Have previously submitted fingerprints to CBP.
To schedule a remote interview, eligible applicants may log into their TTP dashboard and select the “Scheduling Your Remote Interview” link. CBP recommends that applicants verify their e-mail address of record by using the “Edit Profile” link prior to scheduling a remote interview. Doing so will ensure that the applicant receives appointment details and reminders.
